Box Card Cherry Carton Assembly

Hi there friends! Have you seen all the new cherry themed projects in Loris's store yet? So darling! Let's make the new Box Card Cherry Carton (SVG, Silhouette).

I used papers from the Down on the Farm Collection by Echo Park Paper Co. Once I had everything cut out, I inked the edge of the cherries, flower, and decorative panels. I then glued the all the panels and cherries in place. The first insert has four cherries, and the second insert has three. The two tabs on the ends of the box pieces are mountain folds and then glued together creating the box.

Now to add the inserts. The tabs are valley folds and the glue is applied to the outside of the tab (the side that is going against the inside of the box card). Line up the front of the tabs with the front of the inside of the box and the top of the tabs with the top of the box card.

Before the glue is dry fold the box card flat making sure it will fold flat all the way.

I use the same process for the second insert except I line the tabs up to the back of the first insert and the top of the box card.

Glue the sentiment and the flower to the front of the card.

Now the card is ready to send! Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have a cherry good day!

Explosion Box Dinosaur

Hi friends! I'm dropping in today to share a cute card for a dinosaur lover.  This explosion box is fun and gives a little surprise when opened (SVG, Silhouette). I love box cards like this they can serve as a cute shelf sitter and a fun birthday gift. I made this card for a little boy but I also have a niece that loves dinosaurs and this card would be cute made with pinks, purples, and yellows. I used papers from the All Boy collection and Birthday Boy collection by Echo Park Paper.

Thats it from me today. Thanks for being here.

Lori Whitlock Creative Team Blog Hop May 2023

Hi friends! Welcome to the Lori Whitlock blog hop. The order this month is Lori, Anita, Brandie, Ashley, Cathy, and Marcia.

With Mother's Day fast approaching I have been busy making cards for the moms in my life. I love the huge variety of cards Lori has in her shop. This one is going to my mother-in-law who loves to camp and be outdoors. It is the 5x7 Grid Pop Up Card Camper (SVG, Silhouette). I used the Life is Beautiful collection by Echo Park Paper. The color palette is soft and beautiful.

I just love how this card turned out. Ashley is up next on the hop. Thanks for being here!

Strawberry Purse and Jam Jar Card

Good Moring friends! Today I am sharing an assembly tutorial for some of the new strawberry projects that posted this week. I made the Strawberry Purse (SVG) and the A2 Strawberry Jam Jar Card (SVG). For this project I also cut out a 3D Bow for the top of my purse. I used the bow from the Gable Box with bow (SVG).

Once all of my pieces were cut, I folded all of the tabs in a mountain fold. Then inked all the edges with a corresponding color to help cover the white core paper and give some added dimension to each piece.

Before gluing the sides together, I glued the white panel piece inside the purse to cover the heart holes. This would also be cute left open. I then folded the lid back out of the way and added glue to all the tab on one side of the purse. (I find that less glue is best when using a wet glue.)  I started with the back of the purse. I pinched the first tab on the top to the flat edge to secure then moved along the side pinching each tab to make sure it was secured.

Then repeated for each side. Now with the edges all glued I added the green leaves and lid. (Sorry I missed a picture.) I cut two handles one green and one with a pattern paper that matched my bow. I put the green one on the outside and pattern paper on the inside. I did glue the two handles together and added the handle to the purse with brads. I assembled the bow and glued it to the top of the purse. I also added the flower to the front of the purse. I used an enamel dot for the center of my flower.

The jam jar card is really quick and so cute. I inked the edges of all the colored pieces and around the outside edge of the tag. The strawberries are three pieces. I added tiny amounts of glue to the back of the red pieces then attached the white pieces to the red. Then glued the green leaves into place. The small strawberry is for the tag and the large one is for the scalloped label. The paper ribbon slides through the tag hole then glue to the dotted cover of the jar. I then glued the scalloped label to the middle of the jam jar.

I embellished the purse with a few stickers from the Here Comes the Sun sticker book. All of the papers and stickers came from the Here Comes the Sun collection by Echo Park Paper.

This little gift set is so sweet! It will be perfect for a mom, teacher, grandma, sister, or friend! Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!

Hi there! Thanks for hopping with us today. The order this month is Lori, Anita, Brandie, Ashley, Cathy, and Marcia. I was inspired by the free file with purchase this month. It's the Hippo Belly Box and I have been wanting to make the Cow Belly Box (SVG, Silhouette).  I made her a little larger and used my laser cutter so I could use wood. I also covered the box part in the cow print paper from the Down on the Farm collection by Echo Park Paper Co.

Lori Whitlock Creative Team Blog Hop March 2023

Hi there and welcome to the Lori Whitlock blog hop! The order this month is Lori, Traci, Anita, Brandie, Ashley, Cathy, and Marcia. This month I am sharing the cute 3D Rainbow I made to add to my St Patrick's Day decor (SVG, Silhouette). As I was making this rainbow my darling eight-year-old told me "If that is supposed to be a rainbow then you are missing some colors." Well little mister it is a rainbow and I get to make it whatever color I please. Critics...

This happy little rainbow was fun to make and embellish. Thanks for hopping along today.  Ashley is up next.
