Frog Bobble Head Favor Box with Brandie

Hi there Friends! I am over on Lori Whitlock's blog today with this cute bobble head frog project.

 I needed a little box to tuck my favorite tube of baby cream and a gift card for a new momma friend.

I used the Favor Box Tuck Flap (SVG, Silhouette) and the Bobble head Card Valentine Frog (SVG, Silhouette). All of the papers come from the Sweet Baby Boy Collection by Echo Park.

I uploaded the bag and card into Design Space. I then removed  the images I wouldn't be using for this project, resized the frog and banner, and changed the greeting to say Welcome Baby.

I inked the edges of the banner and frog. Assembled the bag, banner, flowers and frog.

For the wobble feature I DIY'ed my own wobble spring. I used 26 gauge wire, a hot glue gun, pencil, and two 1 inch paper circles. I wrapped the wire around the pencil a few times, cut the excess wire, then applied some hot glue to the paper circles, attached the wire spring to the hot glue on both ends, and then used liquid glue to attach the wobble spring to the back of the frog head.

I assembled the bag using liquid glue and attached wobble spring to the bag.

Today I am sharing a Mother Day Card. I used the Flower Bouquet Mothers Day Card. You can find it here in Lori's shop and here in the Silhouette store. I love this card and how easily it came together.

The sentiment is a print and cut that I changed to a dark purple. The pattern papers are from Lawn Fawn and I used Heidi Swapp gold color shine for the paint splatters.

Easter Bunny Tote

Hi there crafty friend! Brandie here with a cute and easy Easter bunny basket idea. If you are like me and want to give something small for Easter than this tote is perfect!

The Easter bunny tote file can be found here in Lori Whitlock's shop and here in the Silhouette store. This little tote is cute as is but I love the new Easter bunny faces files. 
I  removed the face on the tote and did a print and cut with the new bunny face files on the support piece that is included in the tote file. You can find the girl bunny here and the boy bunny here in Loris shop and here and here in the Silhouette store.

All of the pattern papers are from the 6x6 paper pads of Echo Park's Sweet Baby Girl and Sweet Baby Boy collections

Decrotive Cutting Board Tutorial

Hi there crafty friends! Sharing a tutorial I did for Lori Whitlock.

I found this cute shaped cutting board at Michael's they also had a few other shapes as well. But I needed the chicken.

The Farm Fresh Eggs comes from the Farm Animal Dingbats Font. You can find it here in Loris shop and here in the Silhouette store. This type of file is uploaded like a new font to your computer that can then be used in your cutting software.


Once I had the font loaded to my computer I typed out the alphabet until I found the image I wanted. In this case it is the letter O.

I enlarged the image to 8 inches wide and sent it to my cutting mat. I cut the image out of chalkboard vinyl. I like how sticky it is and the texture it gives to the words.

When possible I like to weed my cut images while they are still on the cutting mat. So that when it comes time to place the transfer tape the image is flat and secure.

I centered my cut image on the cutting board using the jute hanger as a guide.

Pressing really hard I rubbed each letter then peeled up the transfer tape.
